The established charity bike event which started back in 2008 is held over 22 nights through the months of May to September. It takes place on the beach lawns in Weston Super Mare on a Thursday evening from 6pm and has all the usual attractions such as bike of the night themed awards ranging from Scooter, Trike, American Power and more, as well as music, hot food and various traders and stalls. For more information on dates and themes, see our 'Events' page.
All money collected on the evenings is donated to the Poppy Appeal. As we are sure you are aware the Poppy Appeal is a very worth while cause, with many ex-service men and women needing support from the Royal British Legion every year.
In 2016 we raised a massive £13555.66 which was presented to the Poppy Appeal on the final bike night and accepted by Mike Pharaoh Branch Chairman of RBL Weston and Christine Chatfield Community Fundraising Manager (The Royal British Legion).
Included in this figure was £1850 from the sale of images. Thank you to all who have ordered and donated for images over this and the previous years. If you would like to view or order images, please see our Gallery.
We would like to thank every biker who turned up to support this event and look forward to seeing you in 2017.
